These terms cover your use of Endcap. Installing the app means accepting them.
What the service does
Endcap audits your Shopify product catalog against requirements Shopify publishes for Shopify Catalog, reports whether AI assistants name your store for buying questions in your category, and can apply changes to product fields that you approve individually.
What we do not promise
We report what is measurable. We do not guarantee rankings, traffic, revenue, inclusion in any AI assistant's answers, or any commercial outcome. AI platforms and Shopify change their systems independently of us, and a passing audit is not a guarantee of visibility.
Changes to your catalog
Bulk fixes only write fields you have selected after seeing the current and proposed value. Every applied change records its previous value so it can be reverted from within the app. You remain responsible for your product content, including the accuracy of any description drafted by the app and approved by you.
Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to access stores or data that are not yours
- Do not resell or redistribute the service without a written agreement
- Do not use the app to publish claims about products that are not true
Billing
Paid plans are billed through Shopify and appear on your Shopify invoice. You can change or cancel your plan at any time from your Shopify admin. Cancelling stops future charges; Shopify's own refund rules govern amounts already billed.
Availability
We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee it. The service depends on Shopify's APIs and on third-party AI providers, and may be interrupted by their outages, rate limits or changes.
Liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost sales or profits.
Termination
You may uninstall at any time, which ends these terms. We may suspend an account that violates the acceptable use section. On termination your data is deleted as described in the privacy policy.
