Hiding a product from search engines is often done deliberately for a variant, a legacy SKU or a wholesale item. The side effect is that Shopify Catalog excludes it too, so assistants lose it as well as Google.

- Check the seo.hidden metafield on products you expect to be recommended.
- Remove the flag where AI visibility matters more than keeping the product out of Google.
