What Unlisted status does to your AI visibility

Unlisted is useful for products you want reachable by direct link but hidden from browsing. What it also does, and what is rarely obvious, is remove the product from Shopify Catalog entirely.

How to check it yourself

  • Filter your product list by status.
  • For anything Unlisted, decide whether AI assistants should be able to recommend it. If yes, set it to Active.

The fix

Change the status to Active if you want AI channels to be able to recommend this product.
